Red Dragon

Red Dragon is a 60% sativa-dominant photoperiod from Ziplock Seeds, available as feminised seeds. It comes from Ziplock’s Black Panther line and uses two in-house hybrids: Death Kiss as the mother and Black Panther as the pollinator.

The parentage is detailed and worth spelling out. Death Kiss is Dante’s Inferno x Frosted Flakes, with Frosted Flakes coming from Cereal Milk x White Truffle. On the other side, Black Panther is Cheetah Piss x Sinful. Sinful is a KY Jealousy S1 made from Watermelon Mimosa x Jealousy, while Cheetah Piss is reported as Lemonnade x Gelato 42 x London Pound Cake 97. That gives Red Dragon a broad modern dessert, gas and candy background rather than a simple one-note cross.

Flowering time is typically 8–10 weeks. Ziplock Seeds describes Red Dragon as very vigorous, with wide nodal spacing that allows deeper light penetration through the plant. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, and the listed yield is medium to high.

The flowers are described as frosty and purple, with Death Kiss passing on strong resin traits. The flavour profile is credited to the Black Panther side of the family, landing on a blend of vanilla, gas, candy and citrus. If you like modern resinous purple genetics with a sweeter edge but still some fuel in the mix, Red Dragon has a clear place on the shortlist.
