A hybrid with complex genetic heritage, containing 2 tropical pure sativas (Malawi and Jamaican), a dominant sativa (Nepalese) and a colourful indica hash plant from Central Asia (Pakistan Chitral Kush), which fuse their best qualities in a perfect sativa/indica equilibrium.
Red Sapphire plants are sturdy and robust, growing to a manageable medium-size with thick stems and powerful side branches. A perfect moderate inter-nodal distance allows excellent light penetration throughout the plant, and it is able to sustain the heavy weight of the flowers during bloom without major problems, even in windy and rainy conditions.
Despite being a polyhybrid, all plants have a uniform development, requiring the same care, and finishing with similar sizes and flowering times. 75% of the plants show the reddish phenotype described above, while 25% remain green until the end, producing aromas of pear and green apple.
The buds are dense and medium/large in size, with excellent flower to leaf ratio (a pleasure to manicure), large and resinous calyxes, with a complex and exotic terpene profile (cherry, red fruit chewing gum, fine red wine and hashish), producing exuberant re-flowerings in the last 2 weeks of bloom that crown its beauty and give it an exquisite final sativa touch.

Strain FAQ
How does climate effect cannabis cherry flavour?
Like other terpene-based flavours, cannabis cherry flavour is affected by the environment. The strain's flavour profile is enhanced by cooler climates, which accentuate the cherry aroma's terpenes.
The economic and ecological benefits of these strains?
Early-flowering cultivars are said to be able to boost efficiency by allowing for an earlier harvest. This decreases crop loss from weather or pests. Operating with the seasons is also said to reduce the need for artificial lighting and heating, making it more sustainable and better for the environment.
Can greenhouse cannabis strains create microclimates?
Fascinatingly it is reported that some strains adjust their greenhouse environment to suit them. This ability to adapt to microclimates can reportedly produce distinctive plant qualities like bright colours and bud structures. There are those that say that a greenhouse can bring out the best in cannabis.
Why do SE Asian strains flower later?
These strains have sativa traits, which extend flowering to 10–14 weeks. Due to their native climates' long growing seasons, they flower longer, allowing them to reach their full potential.
Why is it getting harder and harder to find pure sativa strains?
Finding pure Sativa strains is become a treasure quest! Due to its customisable effects and growth properties, many strains marketed as 100% sativa strains are actually Sativa-dominant hybrids. This is due to breeders adapting to different tastes and producing strains to match them.
