Critical Mass is a well-known big production strain that was created by crossing big bud and skunk. We took critical mass and crossed it with Skull Ryder and refined it until it was 100% autoflowering.
The resulting autoflowering strain is a strong smelling auto skunk that fills the grow room with a pungent aroma and produces taller than average plants with slender leaves and long buds.
CriticalRyder can produce such incredible harvests that it is easily comparable to photoperiod strains in terms of its commercial capabilities and because of this many growers are now coming across to the autoflowering way of thinking. In 10-11 weeks an experienced grower can be yielding over 500g per m2 of top quality buds using this strain.
Like any strain which has some skunk heritage you can expect a potent smell and an even more potent effect. The rock hard buds are easy to trim and the smell of the final product takes you straight back Amsterdam’s Coffee shops. CriticalRyder is our highest production Auto and does not let you down on quality either!

Strain FAQ
When do Ruderalis plants flower?
Ruderalis flowers quite early, after 21 - 30 days. This fast flowering time is faster than other cannabis strains.
What distinguishes auto-flowering cannabis strains genetically?
Their cannabis ruderalis heritage makes auto-flowering strains distinctive. Their capacity to flower without a light schedule is due to this rare cannabis cousin. Their clever method distinguishes them from Cannabis sativa and Cannabis indica strains that wait for light cues to flower.
Are skunky strains simple to produce?
Skunk strains are popular due to their longevity and versatility. In harsh temperatures or environmental circumstances, their resilience is desired.
How are South American strains pest- and disease-resistant?
South American cannabis cultivars are said to be resistant to pests and illnesses due to their wide variety of environmental adaptations. They are ideal for breeding programmes that aim to strengthen cannabis plants due to their resilience.
Do strains listed as suitable for outdoor growth have resistance to pests and diseases?
Being out in the wild, outdoor cannabis strains face a barrage of environmental stressors, from bugs to fluctuating weather. This tough love from Mother Nature prompts them to ramp up their production of terpenes and cannabinoids, which serve as their shield against these threats. It's a fascinating survival strategy that not only makes the plants hardier but is also said to improve the aroma and flavor of the buds!
