Head Banger

Head Banger from Karma Genetics is a pungent OG hybrid made from the Sour Diesel K.G. cut crossed with Biker Kush V1. It’s available as regular seeds, so it suits growers who specifically want a traditional seed line for selecting males and females.

The flavour and aroma are the big draw here. Expect the sour, funky side of diesel mixed with kush depth, giving Head Banger the sort of loud terpene profile that fans of OG, diesel and fuel-heavy varieties tend to look for. Karma also notes heavy trichome production, which helps explain why this variety has a strong reputation for concentrates and extracts.

Growth is suited to indoor or outdoor cultivation, with a flowering time of 10–11 weeks. Test grows described Head Banger as a medium to high yielding plant, with dense bud structure coming through from the OG Kush side of the genetics. It’s not presented as a tiny or ultra-fast plant; the appeal is more about resin, aroma and a proper kush-diesel finish.

Head Banger has also picked up several awards: 3rd place Best Sativa by a seed company at the High Times Cannabis Cup Amsterdam 2013, 2nd place Best Sativa at the IC420 Growers Cup Amsterdam 2015, and 1st place overall for shatter at The Secret Cup Barcelona 2015.
