Description
Insanity OG from Pure Instinto is an indica-dominant OG cross with plenty of weight behind it. It comes as feminised seeds and is bred from The Ultimate Crasher OG x Frosted Sherbert OG, giving it a pungent, resin-heavy profile with a strong modern potency. THC is listed at 30%.
The aroma is the first thing to know here: skunk, fuel and spice, with a pungent edge that carries through into the flavour. The taste is described as sweet and earthy, with a smooth smoke and a sweet finish on the exhale. It also leaves a lingering taste on the tongue, so this isn’t a quiet, background sort of OG.
In the grow room, Insanity OG is described as fairly easy to handle and suitable for both newer and experienced growers. It forms compact buds with a thick resin coat, growing with long stems that support the heavy flowers. Plant height is listed as tall, so it is worth choosing it with space in mind rather than expecting a small, squat plant.
Flowering time is 58–63 days. Yields are described as moderate. Pure Instinto recommends indoor cultivation or outdoor growing in temperate climates with rich soil.
The effect is strong and relaxing, with a body-led high joined by calmer, brighter mental effects. The breeder describes an initial wave of relaxation, followed by uplift, focus and a happier mood. Because of the high THC level and strong effect, it is not recommended for complete beginners. It makes most sense for customers after a potent, resinous indica-dominant OG with skunky fuel notes and a night-time relaxation angle.
