Description
Bubble Dawg is built around a simple but very appealing idea: take the fuel and Kush weight of Underdawg OG, then round it off with the sweet candy character of Original BubbleGum. TH Seeds has released this one as feminised seeds, and the cross is aimed at growers who like their OG lines loud, resinous and a bit sweeter than usual.
The exact genetics are Underdawg OG x Original BubbleGum. Underdawg OG brings the stronger Kush-style side of the pairing, while Original BubbleGum adds that old-school bubblegum sweetness and helps soften the sharper gas. The flavour is described as a bold CandyGas profile: sweet bubblegum layered over deep OG fuel, with candy fuel, Kush spice and sweet earthy notes underneath. After drying and curing, the gassy finish is said to stay on the palate, while the bubblegum side becomes more pronounced.
Effects are described as strong hybrid, with a relaxed body calm and an uplifting mood. It’s not presented as a racy daytime type; the emphasis is more on unwinding, evening use, mellow creative sessions and deep physical relaxation with a smooth finish. That makes sense given the OG influence, but the BubbleGum parent keeps the overall character sweeter and less blunt than a straight fuel-heavy Kush line.
Compact, resin-heavy growth
Bubble Dawg stays fairly manageable for an OG-influenced hybrid, with plants usually reaching around 120–140 cm. TH Seeds describes the cultivation difficulty as easy to moderate, with compact to medium structure, dense flower formation and good resin coverage. It’s suited to indoor setups and controlled spaces, especially for growers who want strong terpene expression without dealing with a very tall OG stretch.
Flowering time is 8–9 weeks, and indoor yield is listed at 450–550 g per square metre. The flowers are dense and resin-coated, so support for heavier branches may be useful late in bloom. Suggested training is straightforward: top once in vegetative growth, use LST to open the canopy, and clean lower growth to help airflow around the plant.
The resin production is one of the more practical reasons to look at this cultivar. Bubble Dawg is mentioned for Ice-O-Lator, bubble hash, dry sift and rosin pressing, with strong terpene retention after a proper dry and cure. The drying guide gives 12–14 days, followed by a further 10–15 days of curing, with stable humidity recommended to bring out the sweet bubblegum, OG gas and Kush spice.
This is also a limited-edition TH Seeds release, so the appeal isn’t only yield or flavour. Bubble Dawg suits growers and collectors who want a compact feminised OG hybrid with a proper sweet-gassy profile, dense resinous flowers and a calmer, uplifting finish.
