Description

Overview of Laughing Buddha

Laughing Buddha is a notable, almost pure Sativa strain, crafted by Barney’s Farm through crossing a Thai landrace Sativa with Jamaican hybrid origins. It’s celebrated for its energetic high, exotic fruit aromas, and sweet flavors.

Genetic Background

The strain boasts an impressive lineage, resulting from a blend of Sativas native to Thailand and Jamaica – countries known for producing potent cannabis. Laughing Buddha is among the esteemed creations of Barney’s Farm, a breeder with a track record of award-winning strains including Tangerine Dream and Blue Cheese, further highlighted by its bronze win at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2003.

Plant Characteristics

Legal growers in the UK have noted its growth into slender plants with tapered buds, a trait influenced by its Jamaican genetics. The buds are covered in white trichomes and possess a unique aroma blend of tropics, pepper, and nutty scents, transitioning to a lemony and herbaceous flavor when smoked. Known for its potency, the strain tends to induce smiles and giggles, marking its enjoyable effects.

Typical Effects

Users report a swift onset leading to a happy, euphoric state conducive to social interaction and creativity, without the sedative effects typical of strong indicas. It’s favored for both solo and social usage, making it a versatile choice for different settings.

Purchase Recommendation

Laughing Buddha is said to be recommended as a must-have Sativa seed for collectors, attributed to Barney’s Farm’s reputation for quality breeding. It stands out as an underappreciated gem within their portfolio, promising a joyful and aromatic experience.
