Description

Brief Overview

Northern Lights set the benchmark for Indicas in the eighties, winning numerous awards until it was suggested to retire from competitions to give others a chance. A descendent, NLX Special, was introduced in California in the 60s and became a staple in the Netherlands. Predominantly an Indica strain, NLX Special has been hybridized with various other varieties, including notable crosses like Northern Lights Special and NLX (Northern Lights x White Widow). This strain is praised for its compact, fast-growing nature, high yield, and minimal odor during cultivation, making it a favorite among both commercial and novice growers. Its buds exude a honey-musk scent with an earthy undertone, offering a relaxing high influenced by its skunk cannabis genes.
