Lion Strength S1

Lion Strength S1 is a very personal Capulator Seeds release built around a treasured Super Lemon Haze cut and the MAC line. It is available as feminised seeds, made from Super Lemon Haze #5/150 from the first greenhouse drop crossed with a MAC 11 male, described as the twin brother of MAC 1. Capulator later selected the #17 plant for its greasy lemon peel profile and made S1 fems from that selection.

The story behind the name is part of what makes this one stand out. Capulator’s Super Lemon Haze cut was his father’s favourite plant, one he grew by the river each year. After his father passed away in 2023, the cross was grown out in his ashes and named Lion Strength, the English translation of his father’s name. That gives the release a bit more weight than a normal catalogue cross, without taking away from the practical appeal of the genetics.

The flavour sits firmly in lemon and citrus territory, with sweetness underneath and a greasier lemon-peel edge carried through from the selected #17. The listed main terpenes are limonene, myrcene and caryophyllene, matching the citrus, sweet and lightly spicy profile described for the finished flowers. Buds are noted as dense and resin-rich, with a fresh lemon aroma touched by sweet and spicy notes.

Growth is robust rather than dainty. Capulator describes Lion Strength S1 plants as having a very strong conical structure, with slower veg times and excellent apical dominance. If left untopped, they are expected to need little support, and topping is not recommended. Indoors, the plant can reach an average height of up to 170 cm, so it is better suited to growers who can give it some space and are happy working with a plant that wants to build around a strong main stem.

Flowering is listed as long, at more than 65 days, with a more specific indoor figure of 9–10 weeks also given. Yield is marked as large, and the plant is described as capable of giving high yields, with indoor cultivation highlighted as a setting where it can show its full potential. The fems are also described by Capulator as stable for intersex traits, with no herms reported at the time of the notes.

Potency is high, with THC stated at over 25%. The effect is described as relaxing, mood-lifting and euphoric, with enough intensity and duration that it is aimed more at experienced consumers than beginners. Lion Strength S1 should appeal most to collectors who like lemon-heavy Haze character, MAC influence, strong structure and a release with a genuine bit of breeder history behind it.
