Rose Soda

Rose Soda is a high-THC, flavour-led release from Anesia Seeds, available as feminised seeds. Its parentage is Rosé Pink #8 x Rose Gold Rutz x Black Cherry Soda, a three-way mix aimed at cherry sweetness, candy terps, dark fruit and a fizzy soda edge.

Anesia describes Rose Soda as a selected and stabilised line, with top phenotypes refined and backcrossed over generations to keep the flavour, resin and strength lined up. The finished balance is 65% indica and 35% sativa, so it carries plenty of body weight without losing the brighter, more upbeat side of the high. THC is listed at 34–36%, so this is not a casual low-strength choice.

The flavour is the bit that gives Rose Soda its name. Expect cherry soda, rosé berries and creamy candy, with the Black Cherry Soda side adding darker cherry notes and a subtle fizzy finish. Rose Pink #8 brings the sweeter floral and cherry character, while Rose Gold Rutz adds that loud candy profile and longer-lasting power. It’s a rich dessert-fruit profile rather than a plain berry strain.

The effect starts with a clean euphoric lift. Anesia describes it as uplifting, creative and focused at first, with a brighter head feel before the body side settles in. After that, the indica weight comes through as calm physical relaxation. The overall feel is strong and long-lasting, but the description stays more clear-headed than couch-locked: mood up, body relaxed, mind still switched on.

In the grow room, Rose Soda is described as solid and cooperative, with dense chunky flowers, a strong resin coat and colours that can include greens, pinks and deep cherry reds. It responds well to training such as LST and topping, which is useful given its size. Indoor plants are listed at 140–180 cm, while outdoor plants can reach 220–260 cm.

Flowering time indoors is 8–10 weeks. Outdoors, harvest is given as mid to late September. Yield figures are also sizeable: 600–650 g/m² indoors and 850–1000 g per plant outdoors with enough sun and space. Rose Soda suits growers who want a big, resinous, modern dessert strain with very high stated THC and a cherry-candy profile that’s more detailed than the usual sweet shop shorthand.
