New to BSB Genetics for October 2017 is our first Red strain the Strawberry Milkshake which produces Purple to Black buds from 95% of plants.
The parents of this Red strain are Dark Devil Auto and Black Cream Auto, both good medicinal varieties and the Dark Devil Auto also a 1st place cup winner at the High Times Cup 2014, so a very good pedigree.
Strawberry Milkshake grows like a typical indica / sativa hybrid producing a main stem, strong side branching and a thick canopy of large leaves which end up forming a solid and dense main cola wrapped around by multiple bud sights on the side branches ensuring a heavy harvest.
Strawberry Milkshake also produces high amounts of aromatic resin which produces a sweet and fruity aroma with lemony citric hints.
Her overall height will average between 80cm and 130cm, she can grow quite tall for an auto flowering variety and this characteristic has been passed down from her Dark Devil Auto parentage.
Her effects are potent and exciting.

Strain FAQ
Purple strains' cultural significance?
Purple strains are considered uncommon and difficult to grow, making them emblems of exclusivity in cannabis culture.
Why has the Cannabis Cup moved from Amsterdam?
The Cannabis Cup began in Amsterdam in 1988 and has now expanded to the US, Canada, and Jamaica. This global extension has followed the larger cannabis markets as cannabis legalisation changes throughout the world.
What makes South East Asian cannabis strains' THCV unique?
Some South East Asian strains have significant levels of Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), a cannabinoid that can reportedly decrease hunger and give a clear-headed, energetic high. These strains' greater THCV concentration makes them special in the cannabis world.
What contributes to the citrus flavour of this strain?
Velencene smells delicious and orangey, named after Valencia oranges. Though less frequent than limonene, it's a prominent terpene in orange-flavored strains.
How long do indica-dominant strains flower compared to sativas?
The fastest flowering strains are indica-dominant, finishing in 45–60 days. This fast flowering phase helps legal growers get their plants to maturity quickly, reducing the time from seed to harvest.
