Lime Whip

Lime Whip is built around flavour first: sweet lime candy, sour citrus and a soft grape-citrus cream on the finish. Common Wealth Seed Co made this release with modern bag appeal in mind too, so expect dense flowers, glossy resin glands and a bright, sticky look once bloom gets going.

It is available as feminised seeds and comes from Key Lime Pie x Grape Sunshine. The breeder’s aim with this cross was clear flavour expression, with Grape Sunshine adding noticeable vigour and stretch, while Key Lime Pie helps bring structure and that sweet-and-sour citrus character through to harvest.

Lime Whip is described as a balanced hybrid rather than a heavy one-way indica or sativa type. THC is listed as very high at 20% or more, with CBD low at 0–1%. The effect starts on the brighter side, with an uplifting, happy mood shift, then settles into a gentler relaxed feel without being described as especially flattening or sleepy.

In the grow room, this is better suited to someone with a bit of experience. The plants have good vigour and a clear stretch in flowering, so height control matters. Light training is recommended to keep the canopy in check, and good airflow is useful around the tight, resin-heavy flowers.

Flowering time is 9–11 weeks, or around 64–75 days. Indoor and outdoor yields are both described as medium to high, with the plant keeping a stretchy frame but forming tight buds rather than loose, airy flowers. The early frosting is one of the nice visual points here, with large resin glands building as the flowers develop.

The terpene profile is led by limonene, with caryophyllene and myrcene also listed. In use, the flavour is more specific than plain citrus: lime candy on the inhale, sour citrus through the middle, then a sweeter grape-cream edge that hangs around after the exhale. If you like bright candy profiles but still want yield potential and resin, Lime Whip has a clear reason to be on the shortlist.
