Outlier V by Night Owl Seeds is a cross of their in-house Outlier C pollinated by their incredibly unique creation of the Vanilla Fizz.
Outlier V produces medium-large hash plants with can-sized colas that are absolutely covered with glistening resin. They tend to be very bushy and branchy, in equal ratio to her height. Excellent yields can be expected, but be sure to have some support on hand as the colas can get really heavy. Both fans of flower and extraction will love this cultivar.
The profile is packed with exotic grape creamsicle/ ice cream notes and baked good cookie funk that gets more and more complex as the cure develops. Later in cure, some funky nutty and vanilla notes can be found. The combination of genetics and flavours culminates in an all-day smoke that crates and outstanding smoke that is equally suited for morning, afternoon and evening. This is an easy-going variety that all are bound to enjoy.
The Outlier C mother was a true standout from the beginning with excellent branching, tons of bud sites that turn into monster colas with mouth-staining cookie and candy notes in all her crevices leading to a truly mouthwatering consumption experience.
On the other side of the lineage is the Vanilla Fizz reversal which was mainly picked for her intense resin production as well as her addictive creamy, caramel notes and incredibly branchy plant structure. She didn't produce quite as much pollen as Night Owl Seeds wanted so he was only able to use her in a few crosses, but he has big plans for this strain so expect to see more hybrids with her soon!

Strain FAQ
How does the environment affect caramel flavour?
Soil, climate, and light are all said to be able to affect the terpene profile and caramel flavour. These factors can reportedly increase or decrease important terpene expression, impacting caramel flavour.
How do breeders use Ruderalis genetics?
Ruderalis is valued by breeders for its ability to incorporate auto-flowering and robust features into high-THC Sativa or Indica strains. Potent auto-flowering hybrids between these two breeds are said to combine the best of both worlds.
Is the Hawaiian genetic influrence in this strain important?
The seclusion of the Hawaiian islands has produced cannabis strains with distinctive genetic lines, terpene profiles, and cannabinoid ratios. These genetic differences reflect Hawaii's unique climatic conditions, providing flavours and effects that are hard to recreate elsewhere.
