Purple Banana Popesicle Auto

Purple Banana Popesicle Auto is a colourful Night Owl Seeds release with a very particular Popesicle parent at its heart. It is available as feminised autoflowering seeds and comes from Popesicle Purple Pheno x Banana OG Auto F3, bringing the purple, floral side of Popesicle together with the tropical sweetness of Banana OG Auto.

The mother used here was Night Owl’s favourite Popesicle plant they had grown. She stood out for a sweet, floral perfume that Night Owl describes in unusually specific terms: creamy lavender tea, purple candy, and a faint Mary Jane/Peanut Butter funk tucked underneath. She also carried shifting pale-to-purple colours, moving from white and silver into lilac and violet depending on the angle and distance.

That mother was not just chosen for aroma. She had a large structure, big buds and very few leaves, which made harvest straightforward. The reversal parent used for Purple Banana Popesicle was medium in stature and described by Night Owl as a close recreation of the reversal used for the F4 pollination. That same reversal was also used as the pollen donor for the Z auto tester and the Valentine’s Surprise pack, which gives this cross a bit of useful breeding context rather than just another name on a label.

Night Owl expects Purple Banana Popesicle Auto to produce medium to large plants, with around half showing an iridescent purple hue. The stated flowering time is 75–85 days from sprout, and it is listed for indoor or outdoor cultivation. Expected yield is 2–4 ounces.

The flavour profile is centred around creamy purple flowers, candy and tropical sweetness. If the mother’s character comes through strongly, this should be more layered than a simple sweet-purple auto, with lavender-like floral notes and a softer creamy edge alongside the fruit.

Effects are expected to follow the Popesicle family: very stoney but still uplifting. Night Owl notes that larger amounts can turn that lift into a happily unmotivated feeling, so the character sounds better suited to relaxed sessions than to staying sharp and busy.
