Description
Mimosa from Pure Instinto takes the well-known Purple Punch x Clementine pairing and keeps the mood bright. It’s available as feminised seeds and carries a 70% sativa and 30% indica balance, so the appeal is very much in its citrus-led aroma, lively effect and generous outdoor potential.
The flavour is a big part of why Mimosa has such an easy following. Expect sweet orange first, close to a sugary orange slice, with sour notes cutting through it and a lighter touch of herb and pine underneath. Its broader aromatic character covers citrus, fruity, herbal, sour, tropical and woody notes, with myrcene named in the terpene profile. Finished buds are dense and olive green, sometimes showing purple undertones, with a frosty trichome coating.
THC is given at 19–27%. The effect starts with a euphoric lift, then eases into a happy, uplifted and energised feel. It’s a daytime-leaning choice rather than one for late nights, especially if sleep is the plan afterwards. The character is described as cerebral, motivating, focusing, relaxing and uplifting, with the energising side doing most of the talking.
Mimosa can be grown indoors or outdoors. Flowering takes 68–78 days, and Pure Instinto gives yields of 500–700 g/m² indoors and 1000–1500 g per plant outdoors. The plant is generally classed as medium sized, though outdoor examples can reach more than 2 metres.
This is a straightforward pick for fans of sativa-dominant fruit genetics: Purple Punch sweetness, Clementine citrus, a sour orange edge and a clear daytime effect with solid THC potential.
