Description
Fruit Tartare TRIPLOID is a fast, flavour-led photoperiod with a bit more going on than a standard modern fruit cross. From Seed City Bulk Cannabis Seeds, it’s available as feminised seeds and brings together compact growth, heavy resin, bright colour and very high potency.
The parentage is a polyploid selection of Forbidden Fruit crossed with In The Pines. Forbidden Fruit adds sweet cherry, berry, citrus and colourful flower traits, with its Cherry Pie and Tangie background bringing deeper fruit, earth and sharper citrus notes. In The Pines adds more exotic fruit, vigorous hybrid growth, resin production and a sharper tropical edge.
This is a triploid variety, meaning it carries three complete sets of chromosomes rather than the usual two. In practical terms, that gives Fruit Tartare TRIPLOID greatly reduced fertility and a much lower likelihood of forming seeds after accidental pollen exposure. The triploid work is also linked with more consistent plant development, uniform flower structure and strong growth while keeping the loud aroma of the parent lines.
Plants are slightly indica leaning but still well balanced overall. They develop a compact, sturdy frame, usually finishing at a medium height, with strong branches and limited stretch. The flowers form thick and even across the canopy, making it a manageable choice for indoor rooms while also being listed for outdoor and greenhouse growing.
Flowering is quick for a photoperiod strain, at around six to eight weeks. Buds are dense, compact and heavily coated in resin, taking on a frosted look as they mature. Bright green flowers are often joined by purple, violet and occasional pink tones under the trichomes, so the finished look is as much about colour contrast as resin coverage.
The aroma is led by sweet tropical fruit, but it isn’t a flat candy profile. Juicy citrus, ripe berries and exotic fruit sit with creamy dessert notes and a clear sour funk. A smooth gassy layer comes through underneath, giving the sweeter side a bit of weight.
The flavour follows the aroma closely. It opens with sweet, tangy tropical fruit, then moves into creamier pastry-like notes. The finish is smooth, slightly sour and gently gassy, leaving a lingering mix of fruit, dessert sweetness and fuel.
THC is listed at approximately 27–32%, with low CBD content. The effect is described as happy, euphoric and mentally uplifting at first, with a clear and centred feel. A calmer body effect follows, relaxing without immediately becoming too heavy.
Fruit Tartare TRIPLOID suits collectors after a compact, fast-finishing photoperiod with reduced-fertility triploid breeding, dense resinous buds and a strong tropical dessert-and-gas profile.
