Collaboration and Breeding Goals

Frosty, trichome covered buds with an intense strawberry aroma and a strong effect were the breeding targets for Strawberry-AKeil, a unique cannabis strain. A collaboration with German hip-hop artist and cannabis enthusiast King Keil (King Kyle), who sought a distinct variety to associate with his name, led to the creation of this sativa-dominant hybrid. King Keil helped select the final phenotype, which inspired a song on his album ‘Weedman Returns’.

The strain, a cross between AK-47 and Bubble Gum, boasts frosty buds and a profound strawberry scent, achieved after perfecting the parent combination. Strawberry-AKeil grows to a medium height, producing numerous buds covered in trichomes, with a smell that dominates grow rooms. It induces a strong, creative, and uplifting high that transitions to a relaxing stone, ideal for those dealing with chronic pain, anxiety, or sleep issues.
