Description
Banana Punch Triploid is built around seedless triploid breeding, with the sweet fruit profile you’d expect from its name and a serious THC range behind it. Tri Me Genetics offers it as feminised autoflowering seeds, made from TET4KRC2 x Banana OG x Purple Punch.
The genetic balance is listed as 50% indica and 50% sativa, so it isn’t pitched as a one-sided couch-lock or racey sativa. The reported effects are strong, relaxed, creative and sociable, with a gradual “creeper” onset rather than an instant hit. THC is given at 28–32%, with the total cannabinoid profile reaching up to 32%.
The triploid part is the distinctive bit. Standard cannabis is diploid, with two sets of chromosomes, while triploid plants carry three. In this case the process is described as crossing a tetraploid plant with a diploid plant to create 3n offspring. The practical aim is 99% sterile, seedless plants, even around male pollen, with dense buds, high potency and strong production as the attraction.
Flavour and aroma sit firmly on the fruit side: hazy berries, freshly cut pineapple and banana. Limonene, caryophyllene and myrcene are listed as the dominant terpenes, giving citrus, spice and earthy notes around that sweeter Banana Punch profile.
Banana Punch Triploid can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse. Indoor flowering is listed at 8–9 weeks, with outdoor flowering finishing around the end of September. The plants are described as producing high yields and dense buds, helped by the triploid genetic structure. Expect dense, cakey flowers with heavy purple and orange trichome coverage.
