Description
Romulan Triploid keeps the old-school Romulan character front and centre: deep pine, damp earth, herbal spice and a heavy indica-style effect. Tri Me Genetics offers it as feminised seeds, with the genetics listed as Romulan × Romulan (polyploid).
The aim is not to turn Romulan into something unrecognisable. The standard Romulan side supplies the familiar forest-floor aroma, kushy depth and slow physical weight that made the name known among indica fans. The Romulan polyploid line reinforces the plant side of the variety, improving uniformity, structure and resin coverage while keeping that classic profile intact.
Growth is strong and compact, with thick central colas and extremely dense flower formation. Romulan Triploid suits growers who like sturdy indica-dominant plants rather than tall, loose sativa shapes. It can be grown indoors, outdoors or in a greenhouse, with an indoor flowering time of 8–9 weeks. Outdoors, it finishes around mid September.
Yield is high to very high, and resin production is extremely high. By maturity the flowers are expected to finish very dense, hard and heavily frosted, giving the variety serious bag appeal and strong potential for hash or heavier extraction work. Stronger branching and improved structural integrity are part of the triploid reinforcement too, making this a more consistent version of a well-known old-school line.
The aroma stays firmly in classic indica territory. During flowering it gives off sharp pine needle notes, dark forest floor and spicy herbal undertones. Near harvest, those smells become thicker and more persistent, with a nostalgic, heavy character rather than a bright fruit or dessert profile. If you want sweet candy flavours, this is not being presented that way. Romulan Triploid is about pine, earth, spice and depth.
Potency is described as very high, with very low CBD. The effect is slow-building, calm and deeply physical, starting with mental settling before moving into full-body relaxation. It is best matched to customers who want a weighty, long-lasting indica-dominant experience and the traditional Romulan feel in a reinforced triploid format.
