Honey Dipper

Honey Dipper by Green House Seeds is available as feminised seeds and has a near-even 55% sativa, 45% indica balance. It crosses Air Lemon with Honey Bananas, using two parents with very different strengths: Air Lemon is a vigorous Super Lemon Haze x RS11 hybrid, while Honey Bananas from Elemental Seeds is known for compact flowers, solventless production and its distinctive artificial banana flavour.

The aim with this cross was clear enough: carry over the candy banana sweetness and compact structure of Honey Bananas, then add the lemon and gas-heavy side of Air Lemon. The cannabinoid figures are strong, with 28% THC, 0.10% CBD and 1.1% CBN reported for this variety.

In growth, Honey Dipper takes a bit more attention than a beginner plant. Green House Seeds describes it as accessible for growers with some basic experience, especially those who want to get the most from its resin and flower production. During veg it shows the Air Lemon side clearly, with a pronounced stretch and medium-to-large internodal spacing. After the switch to flower it forms up more tightly, producing dense, heavy clusters while still leaving enough space between tops for airflow and light penetration.

Indoor flowering is listed at 8–9 weeks, with high yields. Outdoors, harvest falls around the end of September, and plants can reach an average height of 180–270 cm. Outdoor yield is stated at up to 1500 g per plant. The finished flowers are large, compact and heavily frosted, with thick, sticky resin across the buds and, in the right conditions, purple and blue tones can show through from the indica side.

The aroma starts with strong lemon, then moves into ripe banana and a subtle earthy finish. The flavour follows a similar line but gets a little deeper: lemon and banana first, then earthy, honeyed and tropical notes, with a sweet candy background and light gas underneath. The taste is said to linger pleasantly after consumption, which suits the fruit-and-resin character of the cross.

The effect is smooth and progressive rather than sudden and flattening. It develops into a long-lasting, uplifting experience, aimed more at relaxed afternoons, social time or a bit of inspiration and energy than heavy couch-lock. With its resin coverage, compact finished flowers and Honey Bananas influence, Honey Dipper is also a strong candidate for solventless enthusiasts.
