Our Afghan originates from Northern Afghanistan, close to the border of Tajikistan. It is a 100% pure Indica landrace with a high level of THC. By inbreeding her we were able to improve stability and to cut down the height. Afghan is highly tolerant to irrigation and fertilization. Seeds will usually rise above ground within 3 to 4 days. There is little to no variation between individual phenos, especially when it comes to yield. The main buds are stretched, thick and solid. Side buds are also solid, but small and few in numbers. Afghan has a good flower to leaf ratio. She has very few leaves, but lots of calyxes covered in trichomes. She is therefore easy to trim.
Afghan has a sweet, fruity and earthy flavor. And her high has a typical narcotic, Indica buzz. Medicinal value: nausea, insomnia and spasms.

Strain FAQ
Why are early November-finishing strains good for northern latitudes?
These genotypes thrive in the North's shorter daylight hours from summer to autumn, allowing them to do their work well despite the abrupt seasonal change.
Can you describe Afghan Kush's scent and taste?
Afghan Kush smells earthy and spicy with pleasant pine notes. Terpenes including myrcene, pinene, and caryophyllene give the strain its rich scent and taste.
How do pure Indica strains' effects differ from other cannabis varieties?
Pure Indica strains are said to be like sinking into a soft, plush couch: the effects are mostly physical and provide a deep sense of relaxation that's reportedly excellent for evening or bedtime. Indicas' tranquil sensations come from their classic "body high".
Why are regular seeds seen as more exciting?
Regular seeds are seen as exciting because of their unpredictability. Each seed is a mystery of different phenotypes, potentially growing into plants with unique taste, scent, and many other factors.
Why are IBL cannabis strains genetically consistent?
Many generations of inbreeding from a single mother plant or a closed gene pool give IBL strains genetic constancy. This careful breeding approach enables uniform phenotype expression across generations, ensuring predictable strain development, potency, and flavour.
