In a mega chase for phenotypes, we searched thousands of plants to develop our vanilla frosting. After we found the strongest Gelato among thousands, we crossed it with an extremely resinous and aromatic Frost OG, which was also found after a long journey of selection among thousands. Vanilla Frosting is the highlight of all Gelato varieties of the past few years and has an extraordinarily strong and resilient growth.
The flowers become dense and sparkle silvery due to their thick resin layer. Some phenotypes get a beautiful purple shimmer during flowering. The aroma of Vanilla Frosting is overwhelmingly delicious and has a clear vanilla note with sweet aromas that are reminiscent of candy. You don’t want to stop smoking it. However, you should be careful because this strain is highly potent and can easily catapult you on an adventure trip into space. You won’t be able to come back from this anytime soon.
The plants of this variety form long, large and heavy flowers that drown in resin and sparkle like ice crystals. The incredibly sweet and delicious vanilla taste is followed by a fuel high, which is driven, among other things, by an exhilaratingly high THC content of up to 29%.
The effects of vanilla frosting are overwhelming and heavy in every way. They start with a good mood and are like an energetic rush that ends in deep physical relaxation. The soft and creamy smoke hits you quickly and unmistakably.
Vanillla Frosting is a balanced mix of indica and sativa effects that provides both energy and complete relaxation and gives the mind an extra boost. Vanilla Frosting’s potency is wonderfully strong and can easily destroy inexperienced users.
Vanilla frosting develops excellently for both indoor and outdoor growing and forms strong side branches. It reacts well to different cultivation methods and plant training.

Strain FAQ
What gives some cannabis strains vanilla flavour?
Specific terpenes and vanillin, a phenolic aldehyde not usually a terpene, give certain cannabis strains their vanilla flavours and aromas. The smooth, sweet vanilla flavour comes from this aromatic mix.
Are there any particularly famous Gelato crosses?
Breeders have been creating Gelato hybrids to increase its well deserved legacy. Gelato #33 x Zkittlez adds candy flavours, while Gelato x Wedding Cake adds vanilla and spice. Gelato + OG Kush is said to combine intellectual highs with body-calming euphoria.
Does the light spectrum matter when it comes to indoor cannabis?
Indoor lighting customisation is reportedly like a magic wand. It is said that some legal growers adjust illumination to control plant growth and cannabinoid and terpene development. Increasing blue light, they say, could boost the plant's terpene profile and aroma and flavour.
Do you do flash sales and limited-time offers?
For bargain hunters, flash discounts and limited-time bargains are a real bonus. Here in Seed City we offer a great set of monthly offers as well as our Sale Section which has some real hidden gems you won't get elsewhere!
Why is flowering time important for phenotypic expression?
Terpenes and cannabinoids, which give plants their flavours and effects, develop during flowering. This time is said to ensure a complete manifestation of the plant's potential by allowing for a richer, more nuanced profile than faster-flowering strains.
