Apothecary Genetics was founded in the early 1990s in Gig Harbor, Washington. Nowadays they're based in California. They initially were located in Northern California after Bret Bogue, the founder, moved them there in 2004. In 2009 they moved again to Southern California. This move was aimed at expanding their genetics and continuing their pursuit of the best cannabis seed genetics!
The company has distinguished itself through significant research and development efforts. Their efforts have led them to create award-winning strains such as Grape Ape (also known as GDP), Old School Jams, KAIA Kush, 3-D, and Sour Grapes.
