We have crossed our famous Blueberry Headband with the best Bay Area version of Gelato to create a lovely fruity blend of the best of Northern Californian genetics. Unlike regular Cookies based strains from which the Gelato is based which can be very brittle and unable to take the weight of their own buds the Blueberry Headband adds strength and vigor to the cross creating much denser and larger buds that won’t snap branches for a past time.
A very sweet smelling cross that will get you opening your bags or jars more and more as the scent is almost addictive.
Strain FAQ
As days shorten, how do these strains manage light efficiency?
They maximise light during late summer and early autumn's shorter days. This is said to allow them to produce high yields even as daylight decreases.
Why would someone look for indica-dominant strains for therapeutic use?
Indica-dominant strains are used in medicine because they are said to soothe the body. They're chosen for relieving pain, sleeplessness, and anxiety because of this.
How are photoperiod cannabis strains different to autoflowering ones?
Here's where things get interesting: auto-flowering strains switch to flowering mode with age, but 12/12 photoperiod strains need a light trigger. This allows legal growers to fine-tune the light schedule, potentially improving yields and quality.
Do any particular terpenes contribute to the sweet flavour?
The terpene Pinene, recognised for its crisp, piney aroma, can reportedly sweeten a cannabis strain. Alpha- and beta-pinene add richness to the strain's multi-layered sweetness.
Do High-THC strains require specific legal growing conditions?
High-THC strains are said to require extra care to reach their high THC level potential. To maximise THC expression, lighting, temperature, and nutrition must reportedly be perfect. Legal growers use a variety of ingenious methods to meet these markers and let each plant shine!
