French Touch presents its first regular variety, Irie. Developed since many years by a breeder of the collective, Irie is a cross between kasper Diesel, a cross with NYC Diesel and Soma, and a clone of the Juanita Lagrimosa, a variety well known in Spain for its high content of CBD. Irie expresses two phenotypes, one more compact indica covered with resin (75 days) and a Sativa for which the resin takes a little more time to appear and is ready for harvest 10 days later but with a better performance.
The flavor of both phenotypes tends towards apple taste with a subtle hint of diesel. An enjoyable smoke full of flavors and very odorous, beware of neighbors!

Strain FAQ
Can diesel strains' strong smell represent an evolutionary advantage?
Diesel variants' strong, pungent smell may discourage pests and herbivores, showing it evolved to endure severe climes. This protective mechanism is just one way in which these plants adapt to their surroundings.
What's special about strains that finish in mid-October?
Short-season locales benefit from strains that flower by mid-October. As winter approaches, they are already finished, avoiding the risk of frost, mould, and pest damage.
How have Sativa strains evolved to handle humidity?
Thin, extended leaves help sativa plants handle extreme humidity. Sativas are said to be great for producers in moist climates since their sleek leaves have been shown to repel mould and infections.
