Maltezerz is the result of breeding from an S1 pheno-type of Gorilla x Zkittlez crossed with Double Black. Thanks to Double Black, Maltezerz is more resistant to the climate adversities plus is stronger and more vigorous. This mostly Sativa variety is a great producer of incredible trichomes and terpenes. An ideal plant for top quality highly aromatic extractions and concentrates.
Maltezerz is a high-yielding plant that is an absolute doddle to grow indoors or out. It gives 500-600 gr/m2 harvest indoor in less than 9 weeks of flowering time so as for a sativa plant we can consider it a short time! Outdoor growers in the Northern Hemisphere can expect around 700 gr/plant or even a little more for mid-end September. Flavours range from gassy candied Zkittlez, through sweet fruity with a spicy hint, to even chocolate or cocoa notes. Expect a strong high perfect for evening use, or a night chill out.
Strain FAQ
How did the search for chocolate tasting strains begin?
The 1980s and 1990s saw the development of chocolate-flavored cannabis strains. Breeders turned their attention from psychotropic characteristics to unusual taste profiles like chocolate. Chocolope and Chocolate Thai, with their chocolatey flavours, were some of the first created.
Do these strains' different lineages affect their traits?
Middle of September seeds often have indica, sativa, and ruderalis genes. Indica genes provide these plants strength and compactness, sativa genes boost flavours and effects, and ruderalis genes may introduce auto-flowering features, making them adaptable to different methods.
What's the deal with spectral sensitivity in 12/12 photoperiod strains?
It's fascinating to know that 12/12 photoperiod strains may have a favourite colour! Changing the light spectrum during blooming can apparently boost cannabinoid and terpene production, increasing both quality and yield.
