Sour bubbly is a killer combination of two of Mephisto Genetics best strains. The best qualities from each of the parents shine through. They took a 24 carat female (Sour boggle cut x purple indica auto) and hit her with some Hubbabubbasmelloscope male pollen. The result is a hybrid with fantastic vigour from the hubbabubbasmelloscope, even in restrictive pots she can reach 120cm. But the buds are 24 carat dominant, Sour, hard and dripping with resin.
She is an amazing hashplant! Stems, fan leaves, everywhere, completely covered with trichomes! Late in flower her buds look grey with crystals. The smell is sour, strong but with a hint of the bubblegum sweetness in there. The buds are fat, and she has the potential to really yield! If you spot a plant that is kicking into flower a little later than the other girls, train her if you haven’t got space, as she has an extra weeks veg time you can make the most of it and get an even higher yield, expect 5oz + in good conditions.

Strain FAQ
Do auto-flowering strains need much light?
Auto-flowering strains excel in this area since they flower depending on age rather than light. They are said to be perfect for newcomers as they offer a simple experience and there is no need to tinker with light schedules to have them bloom.
What gives some cannabis strains a sour flavour and smell?
A particular combination of terpenes gives some cannabis strains a sour taste and smell. Limonene's lemony undertones, Myrcene's earthy undertone with citrus, and Caryophyllene's spice create the sour profile loved by many.
Has cannabis potency altered over time?
Cannabis, a decade ago, reportedly used to have less than 10% THC across the board. Modern breeding methods have quickly resulted in boosted potency with legal breeders striving to accommodate the desire for stronger and stronger cannabis strains. Where strains with 10% to 19% THC were once the strongest, we are now almost getting into 30% and beyond!
Do hybrid strains have unique terpene profiles?
Breeders combine terpene profiles from different parent strains to create hybrids with unique scents and flavours. This mix of terpene profiles creates unique fragrant molecules that give cannabis its unique smells.
What challenges do these balanced hybrids have?
Balanced hybrids are like twins with differing personalities—what works for one may not work for the other. Legal growers adjust light exposure and feeding regimens to maximise the plants' growth.
