Sweet Purple is a hybrid of 3 varieties: a purple variety, an early-finishing / large-yielding Dutch variety and an exceptionally potent strain. As the name implies, this strain most of the time keeps the coloration of the purple parent, while gaining sweetness from the Dutch part of the family. This mostly Indica mix was especially bred for outdoor gardens in temperate climates.
Sweet Purple is a strong variety that has the additional benefit of resisting mold. These vigorous plant stand up to cold, wet climates and grow to a full height of about 2.5 meters (8 feet) and can yield 500 grams per fully matured plant. Sweet Purple shows some variation, and potency can vary from average to wow from one plant to another. The coloration also ranges, with some plants turning completely purple while on others, only the buds take on that royal hue.
Sweet Purple has a strong herbal, minty bouquet, and a sweet taste underlined by a slight iron-like tone. The high is a pleasant bodily sensation, but also retains a lucid edge that may increase your sense of concentration.

Strain FAQ
Does cold temperature affect how purple a strain can be?
Genetics determine a strain's purple potential, but cooler late blooming temps can boost it. Cold reduces chlorophyll production, highlighting purple colours and beautifying plants.
What makes early finishing strains' terpene profiles unique?
Breeding strains for shorter seasons has produced distinct terpene profiles that enhance smells, flavours, and other benefits. This genetic tampering has added earthy and fruity undertones to the strains in this category.
What does this strain's European make-up likely mean for it?
European culture and law have shaped strain cultivation and preservation. Swiss strict cannabis laws have influenced the development of low THC strains, while ruderalis' adaptability to thrive in harsh climates may have favoured it in Russia.
Why can some cannabis strains resist mildew in humid conditions?
Mold-resistant strains have evolved in damp locations. This genetic adaptation improves what is known as foliar air circulation. This trait adds mould and mildew resistance and assists plants to survive fungal infections.
How did the Cannabis Cup affect cannabis culture?
The Cannabis Cup is a cultural highlight that promotes unity and cannabis love. More than a competition, it's a location where the cannabis community can celebrate its advances and culture.
