Royal CBDV Automatic develops buds packed with cannabidivarin in a brief window of time. Suitable for beginners and veterans alike, she’s super easy to grow and offers a clear-headed and rejuvenating experience.
As our first high-CBDV autoflowering strain, the introduction of Royal CBDV Automatic marks a historic moment at RQS. Our breeders are continuing to harness the potential of other cannabinoids, and Royal CBDV Automatic is a perfect example of their passion and drive.
Royal CBDV Automatic stems from a breeding project involving parent strains Solomatic CBD and Durban Poison. Our breeders harnessed the high-CBD values of Solomatic CBD and the pure sativa genetics of Durban Poison to create a progeny with 75% sativa genetics, 20% indica, and 5% ruderalis.
Royal CBDV Automatic produces dense and resinous flowers in a matter of weeks. Indoor plants grow to a height of 70–80cm and produce up to 450g/m². Growers can easily achieve a hefty stash of high-CBDV flowers in a small growing tent or converted cupboard.
Outdoor plants grow to slightly taller heights of 80–100cm and produce between 110–150g/plant. Royal CBDV Automatic surges from seed to harvest in as little as eight weeks after germination. She grows well just about anywhere and tolerates cold climates extremely well.

Strain FAQ
Is THC the only important element of psychoactivity in cannabis?
No, whilst THC is the most commonly known psychoactive element in cannabis, the overall effect is caused by a mix of everything. Other cannabinoids such as CBD and the terpenes within the plant can, with just a little THC, boost the plant's therapeutic effects. This shows how low THC strains still play a significant role in enhancing overall plant benefits.
Is THC the only important element in cannabis?
No! The cannabinoids and terpenes of low-THC strains work together like the characters of a great film, reportedly improving the overall experience. There is no one most important element in cannabis and it is a combination of everything that comes together to provide the end result. We are excited to see what we learn as research continues!
Where else does the main terpene in piney tasting strains crop up?
Alpha-pinene is the most frequent natural terpene, not just in cannabis. It's in conifers and herbs like rosemary, basil, and parsley. The plant kingdom's fragrances and flavours are woven by this terpene, connecting cannabis to a larger botanical family.
