The TasteBud OG is a high yielding, feminized Cannabis strain with award winning heritage.
By combining the classic Pot of Gold, one of the highest yielding strains from the Flying Dutchmen, with the legendary AK47 from Serious Seeds, we created a unique new Kush hybrid that offers higher yields then any OG Kush available, and a sweet musky taste she inherited from the POG.
There is little stretch during flowering as the Kush side of the TasteBud OG keeps them in control and prevent the stretch usually seed in the AK47, making them easy to grow both indoors and outdoors.
Due to the large, dense buds we do advice to grow them in more temperate climates outdoors, they require a lower humidity (around 50%) during the last 4 weeks of flowering, this is to prevent those massive buds from developing powdery mildew.
When growing indoors you can prevent this by allowing for good air exchange and ventilation.
TasteBud OG requires branch support to prevent her from collapsing under her own weight, so make sure to use bamboo or other means to support the main branches, and to add those supports as early as possible to prevent them from damaging the roots of your plants when pot-bound.
TasteBud OG is incredible, strong, tasty and a massive yield, we hope you enjoy your time with our latest Kush hybrid.

Strain FAQ
What gives some cannabis strains a musky smell?
Plant terpenes give it a musky smell. These strains smell earthy and rich thanks to terpenes like myrcene, humulene, caryophyllene, and linalool. Myrcene contributes to rich, earthy odours like forest floors and woods.
What climates are best for strains with Central American and Caribbean heritage like this one?
These strains thrive in humid and tropical Central American and Caribbean settings. They resist pests and moulds common in these environments, making them useful for breeding programmes to improve cannabis disease resistance.
Can the climate affect cannabis' flavour and aroma when grown outdoors?
Terrain, or the environment in which cannabis is grown, is definitely said to affect outdoor strains' terpene profiles. The soil, climate, and nearby plants can all reportedly affect cannabis' flavour and smell, giving each strain its own unique identity.
