This is a cross made using our elite Cup winning Super Silver Haze cut with our super sweet tasting Grapefruit cut. Plants do not vary much with all phenotypes showing clear signs of both parents. The aroma is half Super Silver Haze and half grapefruit and the smoke is smooth grapefruit haze. Plants grow and flower like the SSH with beautiful fox tail like buds and heavy resin production. The high is strong and hard hitting. Its more energetic than couch lock but can take you down if you let it. This strain is easy to grow and does not require a heavy feeding schedule. Flowering time is around 10 weeks and the yields can be high.
Strain FAQ
Does environment affect the grapefruit flavour strength?
Yes, the plant's environment can impact terpene expression, especially grapefruit-scented limonene. Temperature, humidity, and light are all reportedly able to affect grapefruit flavour strength and balance.
Are there many strains with South American heritage like this one?
The genetics of South American cannabis strains have shaped current hybrids. Using South American genetics, breeders attempt to improve vigour, flavour, and psychoactivity.
Can 12/12 photoperiod hybrids flower faster?
Breeders have been working cross-breeding hybrids to meet the 12/12 light schedule and speed up flowering. These optimised hybrids can finish faster than other varieties without compromising yield or potency.
When did feminised cannabis seeds first come about?
In the late 20th century, feminised seeds revolutionised cannabis production. This breakthrough allowed producers to focus on bud-producing females without worrying about unproductive male plants eating up space and resources.
What makes people say that indoor Sativa cultivation can be difficult?
Due to their height and long flowering time, Sativas are said to be harder to grow indoors. This has led to inventive cultivation and plant training methods to squeeze cannabis skyscrapers into smaller indoor spaces without sacrificing yield.
