As the name suggests, Bear Gorilla is an insanely strong hybrid strain.
We originally obtained her after nothing short of a jailbreak from the USA. Bear Gorilla has produced some of the highest THC levels we have ever tested. We have tested multiple samples at 30% THC which is nothing short of incredible.
Bear Gorilla has an incomparably strong high which is both relaxing and euphoric. This composition gives her the potential to be an excellent medicinal strain, which could help with chronic pain and many other ailments.
Bear Gorilla’s legendary lineage is Gorilla from the USA. Gorilla is a highly prized connoisseur favourite in all corners of the globe. Like many of the finer things in life, she happened by pure chance. Two breeders, Joesy Whales and Lone Watie discovered the strain after Joesy’s Chem Sis plants accidentally pollinated his Sour Dubb. Lonie kept hold of some of the seeds when Joesy destroyed the strain. Later, Lonie germinated those seeds and stumbled across one of the best strains on earth. They named the original strain Gorilla because of her insanely sticky resin production. However, after a long legal case that was instigated by a popular glue manufacturer, they had to stop using the brand name Gorilla.

Strain FAQ
Why was Gorilla Glue renamed?
The original Gorilla Glue name caused legal complications for the sticky business. The strain was often called GG4, which was a way to sidestep the trademark issue.
Are there any uncommon terpenes in earthy flavoured strains?
Earthy strains may also contain lesser-known terpenes like bisabolol, which smells floral, and guaiol, which smells piney with wood and rose undertones. The strain's earthy flavour is reportedly enhanced by these subtleties.
Do high-yielding strains resist pests and diseases?
On the one hand it is known that their increased biomass makes them vulnerable to pests and illnesses. However, on the other hand, breeding has enhanced their genetic resistance. New strains are being created all the time that promise high yields as well as good disease and pest resistance.
