Strain FAQ
How has the chocolate flavour of these strains been produced?
Chocolate strains like Chocolate Thai are often the outcome of intensive selective breeding and genetic preservation. Over time, breeders have cross-bred these strains to keep their chocolate qualities and boost yield and potency.
How do hybrid strains complicate cannabis genetics?
Hybrids complicate the genetic environment beyond just Indica and Sativa. By crossbreeding numerous generations, hybrids have developed many traits from both parents, creating polyhybrid strains. Genetic variety gives the cannabis family tree many interesting relatives!
How do feminized cannabis strains work?
A particular breeding method removes male chromosomes from feminised cannabis plants. Feminised seeds result in plants that are nearly always female (99%) and ready to produce THC and CBD-rich buds. It works like magic to give producers flower-producing plants!
What makes people say that indoor Sativa cultivation can be difficult?
Due to their height and long flowering time, Sativas are said to be harder to grow indoors. This has led to inventive cultivation and plant training methods to squeeze cannabis skyscrapers into smaller indoor spaces without sacrificing yield.
How has increased THC levels affected cannabis breeding?
Breeding for strains with 20% THC and beyond has spurred innovation and the discovery of unusual exciting genotypes. It is important to remember that the mission is about enhancing the strain's taste, fragrance, and therapeutic potential as well as just stretching THC boundaries.
