We crossed two famous clone-only females to create a 100% female Super-strain. The seed mother of this hybrid is Neville’s G13/Hashplant from The Seed Bank, circa 1990. The pollen came from Silver-Thiosulfate reversal of MrSoul’s Genius.
The outstanding Airborne G13/HP clone has a flavor profile of lemon/lime with a sour milk undertone... which makes her a perfect complement to MrSoul’s Genius female (mother of the Apollo line) so we decided to combine them and thus create a 100% female strain with INCREDIBLE lemon/lime and sweet/sour flavors and aromas.
The progeny showed minor variations as expected, however all phenotypes reliably expressed the desired amazing citrus flavors and aromas. The growth structure of the plants varies more than the bud quality - most are compact, bushy plants although some are taller - but all phenotypes share a citrus and sour flavor and aroma.
These are large and vigorous plants with a sturdy structure that supports a lot of weight. The rich resin production of the G13 Genius makes the leaves and flowers look like they were frosted with sparkling white confectioner’s sugar.
- Flowering Time: We recommend 56-65 days of 12/12 flowering
- Morphology: Mostly Indica, low stretching bushy plants.
- How Does it Smoke? Highly potent and resinous buds with lemon/lime citrus fruit fragrances and flavors. Happy, uplifting psychoactivity - yet relaxing.
- Growing Notes: One central stake generally provides perfect support for these bushy, branchy plants. Start flowering with low-medium nutrient dosage and add stronger P-rich fertilizers in later weeks of flowering.
- Yield: Very heavy yield. Huge chunky buds with superb flower/leaf ratio and extreme density.
- Lineage: Airborne G13/HP clone x STS-induced Genius
Strain FAQ
How are photoperiod cannabis strains different to autoflowering ones?
Here's where things get interesting: auto-flowering strains switch to flowering mode with age, but 12/12 photoperiod strains need a light trigger. This allows legal growers to fine-tune the light schedule, potentially improving yields and quality.
How do citrus-flavored cannabis strains' genetics differ?
Cannabis strains with citrus flavours frequently have a complex genetic history from tropical and subtropical landraces. The strains' citrus traits thrive in these climates.
How does cannabis fit into Central American and Caribbean cultures?
Cannabis has spiritual and cultural relevance in many Central American and Caribbean societies. Jamaican Rastafarianism for instance considers cannabis a sacramental herb.
How do medium flowering time strains adapt to different conditions?
Medium-flowering strains are said to be able to thrive indoors and outdoors. This versatility allows legal producers of all experience levels to adapt their methods and assure successful harvests regardless of environmental conditions.
Why is legal indoor year-round production practiced?
This is simply because indoor legal grow chambers allow cannabis growing year-round. This freedom from seasonality allows legal growers to produce fresh cannabis year-round and harvest many times, which is obviously much more difficult under the open sky.
