Orangeina weed seeds is a new cross from our latest seedbank Grateful Seeds, a cross between Orange Jam and Orange Cookies; this cultivar encapsulates a vast citrus explosion for all fans of orange terps.
Orange Jam is the mother in this cultivar; a cross between Agent Orange and Space Jam was selected quite some time ago & stored in Grateful Seed's library ever since, as they were aware that she possessed some unique characteristics. Her terps express with notes reminiscent of a ripe clementine rich with sweetness alongside a succulent blueberry and wild dark berry hints. Orange Jam grows short but sweet with typical Indica mid-size colas. Grateful Seeds selected this cut in their orange cookie reverse project, where they were attempting to explore the nearly infinite variations of orange terps.
Grateful Seeds also selected their male of the Orange Cookies several years ago from a small pheno hunt from Obsoul33t Genetics, and they were lucky enough to find what they thought was the best orange terps they had tried thus far. Their cut of the Orange Cookies expresses tart, freshly squeezed blood orange notes perfectly balanced by sweet cookie undertones. The structure of the buds grows in the typical cookie structure, with a considerable internodal distance and a big yield. Orangeina often shows purple traits later in her flowering periods, leading to some beautiful contrasts with the thick trichome coverage. The Orange Cookie father has improved the overall plant structure significantly by adding vigour and the internodal distance for impressive, monstrous yields and a quick flowering time.
Grateful Seeds views this as one of the best orange strains ever created, so if you can't get enough of orange terps, this is one for you!
The Grateful Seeds family is a small-batch Barcelona based team with a great love for the cannabis culture. They have a long experience rooted in working across the globe in the USA, Mexico, Switzerland, Spain and Morocco that led them to develop their own techniques to express their love for breeding.
Their mission statement focuses on great resin production for flower and hash making and creating exclusive, exotic terpene profiles. They are constantly exploring new ways of combining these two factors to offer new varieties to the community. Grateful Seeds is a project born in 2015 in Barcelona after years of selecting and testing where they've networked to find some of the best keeper phenos in the game to maintain in their library for future development.
Grateful Seeds quality based approach has led to them achieving numerous awards for their genetics, including but not limited to: the Homegrown Cup, Secret Cup Bizkaia, Cosesha Cup, Master of Rosin and ICMAG420.

Strain FAQ
Why do medicinal cannabis users regularly choose 50/50 hybrids?
Health issues might be complicated, but balanced hybrids are said to be able to help. They are used to combine Indica pain and inflammation alleviation with Sativa mood-lifting characteristics to create a multisymptom treatment.
How has Central American and Caribbean cannabis genetics affected the world?
Central American and Caribbean strains have contributed significantly to the world cannabis gene pool. By combining these strains with others globally, breeders have generated a wide range of new popular hybrids.
What gives cannabis strains their orange taste?
Limonene, present in orange rinds and other citrus fruits, gives some cannabis strains their zesty orange flavour. This and supporting terpenes like Myrcene and Pinene provide a rich citrus scent with earthiness and pine notes.
What makes most short-flowering strains Indica or Indica-dominant?
Shorter flowering times than Sativas make Indica strains or their hybrid progeny reportedly ideal for fast harvests. Indica strains have this trait due to the cold northern climates they evolved in.
Has cannabis potency altered over time?
Cannabis, a decade ago, reportedly used to have less than 10% THC across the board. Modern breeding methods have quickly resulted in boosted potency with legal breeders striving to accommodate the desire for stronger and stronger cannabis strains. Where strains with 10% to 19% THC were once the strongest, we are now almost getting into 30% and beyond!
