Humboldt Seed Company

Humboldt Seed Company was started by a group of biologists in Humboldt, California in 2011 and they've built up a great reputation for combining traditional breeding methods with the best of modern science. Initially they were mostly interested in the medical market due to the legalisation of medicinal marijuana there but with increased legalisation they were able to move into the recreational seed market.

They're obviously very talented and are responsible for what are known as High-THC Triploid cannabis seeds which are essentially strains with three copies of chromosomes. This results in seed-less plants with an increased yield, THC levels and resin yield. Even outside of this, their range of over 75 strains contain a lot of really great choices like Vanilla Frosting, Jelly Donutz and Garlic Budder. Humboldt Seed Company continue to breed their seeds from their farm in Humboldt County and use their huge genetics library to produce excellent new cannabis seeds regularly! Their breeding efforts were also helped by their hosting of the World's Largest Phenotype Hunt in 2018 which gave them a staggering number of strains to breed from. They like to say that "the whole point is that we only keep the very best of the best" and the results of all their ingenuity and vast bank of genetics are below so we'd recommend you do a bit of browsing!
