We have been working on our new variety BCN DIESEL, which comes from the family known the world over as NEW YORK DIESEL, crossed with a variety with high CBD levels. The result is out BCN Diesel CBD genetics, with a CBD/THC ratio of 1:2.
It’s a plant that reaches a considerable size in a short time, because of its hybrid strength. You should remember that the plant will grow quite a few centimetres more once flowering begins. It has good resistance to pests and is easy to grow. Its lemon-green leaves may suggest all might not be well, but it’s fine — that’s just its colour.
Its buds tend to form a round, shape without tips and with a compact, strong structure. Its genetics mean that it produces a large amount of resin.
Highly flavourful, with the characteristic citrus notes of the original Diesel a and relaxing, long-lasting effect. Recommended for pain relief.

Strain FAQ
Rare cannabis cannabinoids: what are their benefits?
Cannabis contains approximately 100 cannabinoids, including CBG and CBN, which are being studied for their reported therapeutic properties. CBG-rich strains are being studied for treating inflammatory bowel disease and glaucoma, demonstrating the vast medicinal potential of cannabis beyond just THC and CBD.
Does high CBD always mean no THC?
Not precisely. Despite their modest psychoactivity, high CBD strains frequently contain a little THC. This touch of THC is said to enhance medical effects without the high associated with THC.
What makes early finishing strains' terpene profiles unique?
Breeding strains for shorter seasons has produced distinct terpene profiles that enhance smells, flavours, and other benefits. This genetic tampering has added earthy and fruity undertones to the strains in this category.
What role do terpenes play in pest-resistant cannabis?
Pest resistance is linked to cannabis terpenes. Terpene-rich strains like limonene and pinene smell great and repel insects such as aphids and spider mites.
Why are short-flowering strains popular?
Strains that flower in 55 days are popular for reducing the time investment necessary or in setups with limited space. Their rapid response to different environments lets legal growers maximise yield quickly.
