The Original Loud F1 (AJs Sour Diesel crossed with Spicy Jack was the happy accident that started Loud Seeds). Loud is an interesting genetic cross in the sense that we isolated a phenotype that captures the best qualities of both strains. You get petrol, lemon, and Pez candy on the nose. The plant doubles in size from the time it starts flowering and when grown outdoors from seed it is not uncommon to see 12 foot tall plants. The Loud grows much denser than Sour Diesel from the Jack influence yet has the same initial characteristics and the same nutrient requirements as the Sour when grown properly. The crystal content is mind blowing even when using organics. Ed Rosenthal himself smiled and said this herb is quite amazing after chewing on a node for a minute or two.
Strain FAQ
That gasoline flavour comes from which terpenes?
Multiple terpenes give layers to gasoline flavour. Myrcene is earthy, caryophyllene spicy, limonene citrusy, humulene earthy woody, and pinene crisp pine. Both contribute to the strain's complex fuel aroma and effects.
Does this strain's European heritage bring anything to the table?
Swiss landrace strains, adapted to the Alpine climate, are cannabis genetic surprises. Over thousands of years, they have developed resilience and unique cannabinoid compositions, often with low THC levels to comply with Switzerland's THC legislation. Their isolation and small-scale cultivation in Switzerland make them rare outside the country.
Why are regular seeds seen as more exciting?
Regular seeds are seen as exciting because of their unpredictability. Each seed is a mystery of different phenotypes, potentially growing into plants with unique taste, scent, and many other factors.
