The C99 BX-1 is the result of recombining two distrinctly different Cinderella 99 inbred lines and then backcrossing one generation which gives rise to a consistent phenotype. It was primarily bred for indoor cultivation but great results have been reported outside. This strain produces extremely high yielding monsters with tight, solid buds when grown properly.
Bros Grimm Conderella 99 description: This strains may be the "Holy Grail". Cinderella 99 is the result of painstakingly backcrossing a very rare female to her male progeny over 3 generations. This hybrid was specifically bred for indoor cultivation. Short-statured & heavily branched, this plant grows long, dense colas with an extremely high flower/leaf ratio and outrageous resin production. The breeder has observed a "giant leap" in potency with each progressive generation and, as expected. Cinderella 99 has topped all previous results - her high is heavily influenced by Haze, clear, energetic & devastatingly psychoactive. A plant with all of the above is rare enough, but Cinderella 99 fniished flowering after a scant 50 days. Above average yields of crystal covered buds reeking of Pineapple & tropical fruit aromas.
How do hybrid strains benefit from greenhouse cultivation?
Greenhouse hybrids are created to be the best of the best, combining sativa and indica genetics to thrive. These strains reportedly adapt well to greenhouse conditions and have hybrid vigour, which is said to result in faster growth and larger harvests. They are generally sought after by legal greenhouse growers seeking robust and abundant plants.
What is the history of these early-finishing strains?
Many of these strains are descendants of landrace strains that evolved in certain regions over generations. Breeders have used these old genetic features to generate hybrids that flower early and offer new tastes, effects, and disease resistance.
Why are short-flowering strains recommended for indoors?
Small and fast-growing, short-flowering strains are popular for indoor use, particularly if there is limited space available. With faster cycles and better space utilisation, these strains are said to boost indoor production.
What gives cannabis a pineapple scent and taste?
Terpenes, especially Myrcene, are the secret sauce. Its earthy, musky scent turns sweet and delicious at certain intensities. Limonene offers lemony zest, and Pinene adds piney freshness. They're like a tropical fruit salad!
How do Central American and Caribbean strains adapt to their climate?
These strains thrive in humid and tropical Central American and Caribbean settings. They resist pests and moulds common in these environments, making them useful for breeding programmes to improve cannabis disease resistance.
