Gorilla Glue #4 is a high THC cannabis strain that gets its name from glueing the scissors together in trimming sessions.
The GG#4 strain comes from the USA, and was originally bred accidentally by Joesy Whales. At the time, Joesy was growing out some Chem Sis and Sour Dubb plants, when the Chem Sis hermied and pollinated the Sour Dubb. Frustrated, Joesy decided to throw the seeds out, but fortunately his friend Mardogg kept some of the seeds; which the pair grew out several years later. The strain had three good stable pheno's, labelled 1, 2 and 4. Out of those, the 4th was considered the best and is the one most commonly represented on the cannabis seed market today.
Since finding its way onto the commercial scene, Gorilla Glue has pleased many cannabis aficionados world wide, whilst also winning prestigious awards such as Spannabis Cannabis Champions Cup, The Karma Cup, Santa Cruz Cup, and the IC 420 Growers Cup.
Gorilla Glue #4 is renowned in legal climates, and in online sub-cultures for having a staggering THC content; which is widely accepted to be between 25% and 30%.
