Philosopher Seeds, established in 2008, has its roots deeply embedded in the cannabis culture since the late '90s. This Girona-based cannabis seed bank was formed by a group of cannabis enthusiasts passionate about Sativa genetics, aiming to share and preserve the genetic diversity of cannabis. They have since maintained a collaborative approach, working closely with seed banks like Reggae Seeds and OSC Collective, to enrich their catalog with novel and quality genetics.
The seed bank offers a wide variety of seeds, including feminized, autoflowering, and regular seeds. Their collection spans from classic genetics, such as Easy Haze and Early Maroc, to newer US genetics developed through crosses with strains like Purple Punch, Zkittlez, and Wifi #43. Additionally, Philosopher Seeds has made significant strides in CBD and THC chemotypes, with strains like Pure CBD Punch and Fruity Jack, the latter winning 1st prize in the CBD category at the 2018 Spannabis Champions Cup. Their catalog is diverse, covering a wide range of organoleptic characteristics and flavors including citrus, earthy, sweet, diesel, fruity, and floral.
